Guna memudahkan menjalankan nokmail ini, beberapa shortcut yang penulis pernah baca di milis ID-Communicator adalah: Nokmail run in order to facilitate this, a few shortcuts that I had read on the mailing list ID-Communicator are:

• (T) dan (J) = page up (T) and (A) = page up
• (B) dan (K) = page down (B) and (K) = page down
• (A) & (R)eplay (A) & (R) eplay
• (P)revious mail (P) revious mail
• (D)elete (D) elete
• (L)flag (L) flag
• (H)elp (H) ELP
• (N)ext mail (N) ext mail
• (Y) dan (M)ove (Y) and (M) ove
  
• (C)ompose (C) ompose

Sedangkan shortcut angkanya: While the shortcut number:

1. untuk reply ke semua to reply to all
2. untuk ke page paling atas to the top of the page
3. untuk page up to page up
4. untuk ke mail selanjut-nya to mail to its selanjut
5. untuk mark unread dan sebaliknya to mark unread and vice versa
6. untuk ke mail sebelumnya to mail to previous
7. untuk reply juga also to reply
8. untuk ke page paling bawah to the bottom of the page to
9. untuk page down to page down
10. untuk new mail for new mail
